Beowulf - Philip Wharton

Average rating:

A bloody good tale from the Dark Ages about monsters and heroes, victory and death. Originally performed by one harper in a noisy mead hall, Wharton's faithful and dramatic rendition recreates that mead hall and those epic confrontations.
