Audience Reviews

Suzanne Teed's rating

I saw this show today and I cannot criticise the performers, they were all superb. My problem with this show is that, although it has a good concept and idea, it would lend itself better to a play than a musical. It was also leaned heavily towards the male leads.

The RSAMD should be proud of their young cast who did their very best with a show that to my mind was too long. They kept the energy up and were enthusiastic to the end.  The musical ensemble were excellent.

The story would be a brilliant straight film or play along the lines of Whiskly Galore or Local Hero. I just don't think it works as a musical.

Who should go see it.
I'm not sure kids would like this but it would appeal to Scottish Theatre goers.
