These four performances will be created in Edinburgh by the New York Musical Festival award-winning Belfast composer with a company of performers chosen and rehearsed from this year's Festival. Based on the original work commissioned by LAMDA, Mathilde takes its inspiration from Guy de Maupassant's charming fable, 'La Parure' (The Necklace). 'It is true that Conor Mitchell is Sondheim's heir apparent' (Theatreaddict USA).
