Beating of the Russian Heart - Koleso.

This is a wonderful show - simple, powerful and full of joy. Koleso are seven charming girls from St Petersburg who dance and sing Russian traditional songs in beautiful harmony. They sing almost entirely in Russian, but the messages are clear. When they sing of love, you can feel the heart beat in every note. And in the happy songs, their infectious humour radiates through the audience, so that when men from the audience are bought on stage to join in, everyone is with them. The venue suffers from being near a busy street, but if anything that adds to the very special nature of this show. It feels like you are being let in on a wonderful secret. Mesmeringly beautiful, and uplifting. If you want to feel your "Russian" heart beat just a little faster and with more joy, go and see Koleso while you have the chance!
