John Farndon's rating

What a beautiful, simple little show! Seven Russian girls sing Russian songs in stunning seven-part harmony, while introducing children to a variety of games that have children and adults alike laughing and smiling. They are simple games, like a dance that requires you to adopt al kinds of silly position, and a Russian high-energy version of musical chairs. But that's exactly their charm, and the smiles on the children's faces show they like it too!  The Russian traditional costumes are gorgeous and colourful, and the music wonderful. Interestingly, just because this is a children's show, Koleso don't neglect to include moments of beautiful stillness and emotion with slow choral love songs that hold all of us, adults and children alike,  spellbound. The audience was small but we had a glorious morning party. These girls deserve a much bigger audience. If you've got young children, go along and treat yourself to this brief hour of joy.
